Children in Crossfire Trek Cuba - 2008 Looking for a challenge? Join Children in Crossfire for the trip of a lifetime! We are leading two treks in 2008 to Cuba and Nepal. Help raise funds for some of the World's poorest communities. All that's missing ... is YOU! About Cuba The essence of Cuba has been preserved to this day - the classic cars, the all night rumbas, the unspoilt beaches and the proud people. Wholly original, Cuba feels like bottled lightning with it's volatile electricity. Havana to Trinidad Cuba, described as the pearl of the Caribbean, really is a gem of an island. Our challenge take us from the cultural and historical city of Havana on the north coast right through the heart of the island to the UNESCO World Heritage site, Trinidad on the South Coast. This is a challenging trek through remote and rarely visited regions. The terrain is tough with some tough climbs. You will not forget Cuba in a hurry! So what are you waiting for. Sign Up Now! | ''Almost completely cut off from the maw of McDonald''s, Madonna and other global corporate-cultural influences, Cuba retains a refreshingly preserved quality.'' | Lonely Planet, Cuba
